DECEMBER 9th @ 5:30

In the spirit of the holidays I thought it would be nice to a talent/open mike night.
You will be welcome to share your talents such as singing, poetry, telling a story, baking, cooking, whatever (as long as its rated G) with us.
We have all been together for about a year and this would be a nice way to know about each other a little more.

You may email or call me what you would like to do so that i can have an idea on how to plan our time

I'm afraid that since it's rated G that lets most of us out!

If you like there is a poem I love to recite around the campfire, It's got a 1 or 2 examples of colorful language in it but can be modified to the audiences tastes.  It is called the Great Smoke Off by Shel Silverstein.  It is a humorous take on pot smoking of the past. It was written in the early 70's.  Hey I can't sing or dance so it's this or the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner.  The Great Smoke Off takes about 7-8 minutes to do.  You can google it if you like to check it out or I can email you the text.
