It was enjoyable (as usual to see you all this month) -

Thanks to those who shared their experience and encouragement to the pre ops and new patients.
Every time you share your experience with someone else it is a reminder of why you took this journey in the first place and how important it is to stay connected to the foundation of it all.

The meeting last night seemed to have gone by so quickly that I don't think everyone had a chance to put their 2 cents in - Oscar didn't even get to tell his 2 week liquid diet joke  Embarrassed

We have quite a few people with surgery dates in the near future and I know it does get nerve wrecking just thinking about 'the unknown'. Please do not hesitate to  put your 2 cents in right here.

Also if you have other words of advice or questions we would love to hear them all..

I can do my joke next meeting.... No worries.  Really happy they are twice a month now.  Hope we see some of the new people back too.

I agree with Oscar.  I think twice a month is very helpful.  I think one of the reasons the meeting went by so fast, and for me, seemed a little incomplete (for lack of a better word) is that when we have so many newcomers from the seminar, the regulars don't have the opportunity to discuss what they need or want to discuss.  I don't know if there is a way to resolve this, but that is just my input.

I like the newcomers, it's our opportunity to help make the world a better place by answering their questions and helping them make informed decisions about their health, life and future.

Thank you for your input Oscar.  Spoken like a true "Hero Member!"

And I do agree with what you are saying, however, we pushed for a second support group meeting so that we could really delve into some of the really difficult and serious things that come up for us.  For some of us, one meeting a month is not enough when you life is changing so drastically.  I too love the idea of guiding newcomers and sharing our experiences.  I would only suggest that next time there be a little more structure in the topics so that everything get covered adequately.

I, of course, offer my services to Sophia and Dr. B. in any way to make that happen.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Feb 10th.

Well I agree.   I propose that for our next meeting we dedicate the entire evening to the coronation of Queen Veronica the 1st.

And as my first edict as Queen Veronica I, I will contact Dr. B and Sophia and have you kicked off our boards for making fun of me during my very difficult "2 Weeks of Liquid Hell."  Shame on you, Wingman!

You can't do that, even as Queen.  I'm a Hero!  The masses wouldn't stand for it.

You're doing great.  3 days down!
