Just as an FYI for those going to buy Isopure Zero Carb the Vitamin World on Lakeville Road will give a 10% not 20% discount. So I have bought my first jar of vanilla and am happy to have had the discount.

Hi...
I just wanted to let you know that you can find Isopure cheaper on the internet, too. If you look at my post from 2/6/09 under "I am going to have Bariatric Surgery" I listed a website where I was able to purchase it for $37 as opposed to the $60 I paid at GNC.
Try to keep in mind that you tastes may change after the surgery and you may not want to use the same flavor of Isopure that you are using now. So be careful about stocking up! For instance, before my surgery I loved the flavor "Cookies and Cream." However, after the surgery, I couldn't even smell the mixture without feeling sick. I tried it once and it almost made me vomit. Very strange situation for me. So, becareful before you invest a lot of money in the flavor you like now.
Also, if you are planning on coming to one of our meetings, you may want to ask anyone if they have any Isopure mixtures that they are no longer using. We often donate or trade off with other people who are also doing the liquid diet, or who have just had their surgeries.
I hope this information helps. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.
Welcome to our boards. It's nice to see you posting so much. :-)

I did see a previous post of yours about the suppliment warehouse and when I order more I am going to use them. I just felt like since it was suggested I start using a shake to replace a meal or two a day I should start now, why wait for the Isopure to be shipped. I am trying the creamy vanilla first and seeing how I do with that. You guys on this board seem so supportive and I hope to one day meet some of you along this journey. Several of the things I need to have done before my insurance company can be called for approval have been done and I need to follow up. It has only been a week since I met Sophia and Dr. Buchin but I feel like I am on a new and more positive path.
